This GTC is unilaterally prepared in advance by the Service Provider for multiple off‑site‑formed contracts without individual negotiation between the parties. If you intend to attend conferences organised by the Service Provider, please read this GTC carefully. You may only use the services if you agree to and accept all clauses herein as legally binding. By visiting the official website of Cuckoo Elite, you explicitly accept these GTC provisions governing website usage.
To access the Service Provider's services and register for the congress, you must complete registration via the official website. Registration procedures are described under the "Registration" section on the website.
A contract between the Service Provider and the Participant comes into force upon the Participant's voluntary registration, completion of the application form, acceptance of this GTC, and formal confirmation issued by the Service Provider. This constitutes an electronic written agreement. The contract takes effect for a fixed term and terminates upon the conclusion of the congress.
The Participant shall complete the application form in full. Contracts with Chinese‑based participants shall be governed by Chinese language; contracts with foreign participants shall be governed by English language. By submitting the application form and accepting this GTC, the Participant warrants that he/she has full legal capacity to enter into this contract. During application, the Participant shall submit complete, accurate and truthful information. Submission of the application form constitutes an undertaking to abide by its contents.
When the Service Provider approves an application, it shall send a confirmation email to the address provided during registration, evidencing conclusion of the contract. Upon receipt of such confirmation and full settlement of all applicable fees, the Participant obtains eligibility to attend the congress and access related services offered by the Service Provider. Under this contract, the Service Provider delivers congress‑related services, and the Participant shall pay the corresponding participation fee.
Completion of the application form together with acceptance of this GTC constitutes a valid application and generates payment obligations if the event proceeds.
The scope of services for the congress is defined by information published on the official website. The Service Provider may engage subcontractors and may provide brokered third‑party services.
This contract is for a fixed term and terminates at the end of the congress.
Participants may pay the participation fee on the Service Provider's official website via debit/credit card or other supported payment channels through the designated online payment gateway. Upon receipt of payment, the Service Provider shall issue an electronic invoice and send it to the Participant's registered email address. Failure to settle the participation fee shall result in the Service Provider rejecting the application and being unable to perform the contract. Where applicable, the electronic invoice for the gala‑dinner includes VAT. Applications are processed in the order of payment receipt.
The participation fee is specified within the application form. It covers congress sessions, refreshments during breaks, and lunch. No further itemised breakdown of congress fees beyond what is stated in the application form is available.
Participants may sign up for workshops at the time of congress registration. Workshop attendance requires a separate workshop fee and valid congress registration. Workshop fees cover training content and break‑time refreshments.
The Participant may cancel this contract within 14 calendar days after contract formation. After this period, no refund will be issued for participant‑initiated cancellation; however, participation entitlement may be transferred to another individual.
Eligible refunds will be processed by the Service Provider within 8 business days from the effective cancellation date, normally by bank transfer.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. To exercise cancellation rights, the Participant shall send an email clearly stating the congress name and the application ID shown in the registration confirmation. For email notices, the timestamp of sending shall govern. Refund logistics will be coordinated via email between both parties.
The Service Provider reserves the right to terminate the contract if the Participant fails to perform obligations under this GTC, fails to rectify breaches upon request, or commits any other material breach of contract.
If the Participant transfers participation rights to a third party, the Service Provider must be notified of the new participant's full particulars.
The Service Provider may terminate the contract by email no later than 8 calendar days prior to the congress start date. In such circumstances, the Service Provider shall only refund fees already paid. All other compensation claims are expressly excluded. By submitting the application form, the Participant acknowledges and accepts this arrangement and waives any further claims against the Service Provider.
If force majeure compels the Service Provider to cancel, postpone the congress or convert it to an online‑only format, the participation fee shall not be refunded. Instead, the Participant may use the paid amount as credit towards any on‑site or online course organised by the Service Provider within one calendar year.
Force majeure means unforeseeable, unavoidable external events beyond the Service Provider's reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, earthquakes, fire, epidemic outbreaks, resurgences of infectious diseases, and resultant official government measures such as entry restrictions.
For documentation and professional‑promotion purposes, the Service Provider may conduct audio‑visual recording during the congress, which may later be published electronically. By accepting this GTC, the Participant consents to such recordings (without violation of personal rights) and to their publication for congress documentation and industry promotion.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and personal insurance. The Service Provider disclaims liability for personal injury or property loss sustained by Participants.
The Service Provider may share information regarding third‑party hotel, restaurant, catering and other related services for the convenience of participants. The Service Provider bears no liability for the quality of such third‑party services. The Participant agrees not to bring claims against the Service Provider arising from or connected with these third‑party services.
The Service Provider's data‑protection policy is published on its official website. Completion of registration constitutes acceptance of this data‑protection policy.
The Service Provider reserves the right to adjust the congress venue, date and organisational arrangements. The Participant shall not bring any claims against the Service Provider arising out of such adjustments.
Under applicable laws of the People's Republic of China, the Service Provider's civil liability for losses arising out of or related to contract performance shall in no case exceed the total participation fee paid by the Participant for this congress. This liability cap also applies to tort‑related damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect and consequential damages are excluded.
Participants may submit enquiries or comments via the contact details listed in this GTC. Complaints shall be reviewed within 8 business days. The Service Provider may request supplementary information and shall notify the Participant of the investigation outcome.
Matters not addressed herein shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
This GTC takes effect upon publication and remains valid until amended or revoked.
The Service Provider may unilaterally amend these terms. Amendments shall be published on the official website prior to their effective date.
The Service Provider may appoint subcontractors to fulfil contractual obligations and shall remain liable for subcontractors' performance.
If any clause of this GTC is found invalid or unenforceable, the validity of remaining clauses shall not be affected.
This document is published in both English and Chinese. In the event of any discrepancy between the two language versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
